Moved to Hermann Park, 1958. Rededicated March 16,1997, after conservation"; located at site of Dowling marker # 11938; this statue is erroneously listed in the 1971 "Guide To Official Texas Historical Markers" by Texas State Historical Survey (erected by the Ancient Order of Hiberians); sculptor Frank Teich, created the statue in his studio near Llano
