This home was built in 1910 by Guy Hubler for his bride Fannie Thomas Hubler. Mrs. Hubler's father, J. O. Thomas, is said to have laid out the town of Katy. P. C. Pitts and Fabiola Stockdick Pitts purchased the home from Lewis and Eva Pauli in 1949. The Pitts lived in the home until their deaths. In 1973 Sam Saenz and Karen Pitts Saenz moved into the home and lived there until 1984. They continue to own this home. (1986)
