Marker Text:
This home was built in 1900 for Dr. & Mrs. J. M. Stewart. Also built were the garage and two story tank tower which housed young men who served as drivers for the doctor. The front hall of the home served as the doctors office. Dr. Stewart's home had one of the first telephones in Katy. Mr. & Mrs. Albert Lott purchased this home in 1957 and resided her until Oct. 25, 1984. (1986)
