Only daughter of John Richardson & Jane Birdsall Harris Texas Pioneers. Descendant of the historic Harris at Harrisburg PA. & the Birdsall who settled Long Island, N.Y. Widow of Andrew Briscoe signer of Texas Declaration of Independence & Captain of Regulars at Battle of San Jacinto.

Flowers from the battlefield love brought, were shed over the bier of our beautiful dead.
