Marker Text: Dedicated on November 7, 1999 To the memory of the men and women of the Greater Houston Heights area who served in the Armed Forces of the United States of American in World War II and especially to honor those who made the supreme sacrifice in the defense of their country.
This memorial plaza has been erected and will be perpetually maintained, due to the efforts of the John H. Reagan WW II Memorial Association, the many ex-students, families, friends and the business and professional community of the Greater Houston Heights, all of whom have brought the associations' planning to fruition.
