Marker Text: This home was built around 1902 by M. B. Wegerly. The L. G. Tucker's purchased the home on October 9, 1909 and their descendants resided here for 37 years. This original Victorian house is built of Cypress wood with additions made of pine. Damage to the house was sustained in 1915 when a hurricane demolished the back porch. In 1975 this home was cut in three pieces, moved and totally restored by its present owner, Scott McGowan and Pamela Morton McGowan. (1986)
